Harrisville Designs Flax and Wool Blend is a soft spun 20% flax and 80% fine wool blend that is created by blending natural flax with their own fine wool and then spinning it with a lofty soft-spun twist. It is a delight to knit and wear because Flax and Wool yarns have the texture of flax, the warmth of wool, and are wonderfully soft and lightweight. Approximately yards per skein is 245 yards per 100 gram skein and this yarn knits to a recommended gauge of 4-4.5 sts per inch on a US # 5-8 needle.
