This is an easy pattern suitable for all level of people handy with a sewing machine. It eliminates most of the difficult steps, like sewing inside out. This mask uses only a straight stitch and has a large opening for an optional filter.

Materials:

• 1/4 yard fabric cut into a piece 17 inches by 8.5 inches (16 x 8 for small)
• Two 7 inch pieces of elastic 1/8th inch (3 mm) wide
• One 6 inch pipe cleaner for a nose piece

Equipment:

• Sewing machine (or a lot of time:-) – a walking foot is useful
• Rotary cutter and mat (or scissors)

Finished size approximately 3 - 3 ½ x 7 inches
