Bumblebee hats that are great for both boys and girls. Pattern includes purse and pouch to match.

Sizes: To fit head size of approximately 19 (21, 23) inches. Purse measures 7 by 8 inches. Drawstring bag is 7 by 6 inches.

Yarn requirements: Use a yarn that will give a firm gauge of 6 sts to 1 inch.
Hat: 40 yards of gold and 110 (120, 130) yards of black. Plus a small amount of white for the eyes.
Drawstring bag: 50 yards of gold and 105 yards of black.
Purse: 40 yards of gold and 185 yards of black.

Needles: For hat size 4 (3.5 mm) and 5 (3.75 mm) 16 inch circulars and a set of size 3 double pointed.
For Drawstring Bag the same needles as the hat plus a set opf size 3 (3.25 mm) double pointed needles.
For Purse size 5 (3.75 mm) straight and a set of size 3 (3.25 mm) double pointed needles.

Gauge: 24 sts = 4 inches (10 cm) in stockinette stitch on size 5 needles.
