To function properly a bag must have room at the bottom to expand when filled with things. Flat envelopes will not do! The easy solution is to start with a flat strip at the bottom. The size of this strip as well as the overall height of the sizes determines the size of the bag.

Size: Cell phone/Eyeglass holder about 4.5 x 7.5 inches. Purse about 9 x 7 inches. Tote about 18 x 15 inches.

Yarn Requirements: Light worsted or DK weight cotton 150 (270, 615) yards. 75 yards of contrast color for trim.

Needles: Size 5 (3.75 mm) circular needles, 24 inch (40 cm) length

Gauge: After block a 4-st RC or LC = 1/2 inch, 8-st trellis = 1 1/8 inches. 18 st lattice = 2.5 inches.
